Please forgive my enthusiasm, but I did it!
I fulfilled a life-long dream.
A bucket list item.
Something a lot of people never do.
I wrote an entire book! To say I’m happy is inadequate. But I’m also in a stupor.
What should I do with the extra time I spent researching, studying, sweating, thinking, sacrificing, writing, editing, re-writing, cutting, re-writing again? You get the point.
For four years I’ve dedicated myself to the craft, and this project.
And now it is finished.
So what will I do with my time?
For starters, I’ll stop and praise God. Without His example, His provision, His inspiration, I could do nothing. But because of Christ, I was able to do more than I possibly could have imagined. It’s all about HIM!
After praise? I have some making up to do. My husband deserves lots of hugs and kisses.
Finally, I’m indulging in a strong cup of coffee and some time to appreciate the flowers. After all, I haven’t slowed down to smell them in awhile.
