Time is closing in on a very exciting event. In just a few weeks, my final manuscript for, Getting Through What You Can’t Get Over, must be submitted to my publisher. And I need your help!
I’m looking for a handful of serious advance readers. (Only three slots are available.)
1. Must give an honest and hard critique. If there are gaps where you thought there should be more info, places you get confused, things that don’t make sense, statements you disagree with, (I’ll need to know the why behind what you disagree with), etc. you must tell me. I want this book to help people, and if it’s written weakly, then it can’t make a difference.
2. I need your feedback no later than 8/25/14, but I won’t start sending chapters out until the end of this month. My deadline to turn things in to my publisher is 9/1/14, so that means I really need to get your feedback ASAP in order to have time for necessary changes. Leaving only 3 weeks for you to read and comment. I know it’s a push, but that’s why this is for serious folks only. ;0)
3. I need all of my advance readers to write at least two reviews that you’ll post online. One at Amazon, (I’ll provide info if you don’t know how), and one on Goodreads. (Again I’ll guide you if you haven’t done it before.) If you are willing to post other reviews in different locations, then I’ll bow and say, “Thank you,” in advance.
4. The final, and maybe one of the most important things I need, is for you to help spread the word. I am very passionate about providing hope for the hurting, and I’ve worked hard to interview, research, and pray over providing emotional, practical, and spiritual helps for those who’ve experienced trauma they’ll never get over. I need all the voices I can muster, who God willing, are equally interested in offering encouragement to those in desperate need of healing.
If this is a project/movement you’d like to play a personal and insider’s role in, then please let me know. For those who contact me after the slots are filled, I will keep your names on a list, and offer you an autographed copy of the book when it releases at a discounted price. In addition, those copies will come with a bonus gift. All I ask in return, is that you write reviews and/or spread the word.
Whether you read this book in advance, or after it releases, I simply want to offer my deep gratitude. Thank you for being willing to make a difference in the lives of others. Together, we can make the world a better place, one person at a time — starting with ourselves first.
