Life has certainly knocked me around of late. Guess it further qualifies me to write my upcoming book, Getting Through What You Can’t Get Over. However, I’ve thrived through adversity in my past, and choose to do so once again — through Christ who gives me strength. But we’ll talk details another day.
On a positive, I’m happy to report after months of background work, my website will soon sport a new look. And I’m also making a few changes to the way I blog. Because I write and speak around the world to diverse groups, Business Leaders/Employees, Millionaires/Financially Poor, Men/Women, Corporations/Ministries, Light-skinned/Dark-skinned, you get the picture. As someone who interacts in these various worlds, I’ve discovered patterns and commonalitites — no matter how much or little we have, our gender, our race, or where we live, we are people. We experience similar desires and needs. But how we fulfill them can occur in different ways.
This last piece of knowledge motivated me to organize my thoughts in a clearer way. Not everyone is interested in everything I do, but some want to know more about certain aspects.
Hoping it clarifies, starting immediately, I will categorize my blog like this:
Engaging Mondays — Business Coaching: As a Business Coach, through these posts I will encourage purpose-filled work, finding higher meaning in what we do, while improving the bottom-line outcome. My hope is to inspire an increase in pleasant days as we go about our weekly business. Practical wisdom is the basis of these messages. Sometimes I’ll highlight the podcast I co-host, Engaging Life and Leadership. Other times, I’ll write about work related subjects, often taken from true life scenarios through my firm, Zenith Zone Consulting. (Client privacy and confidentiality will be protected.) All of this will center around productivity and profit.
Writing Wednesdays — Author/Writer: This is where I’ll share behind-the-scenes updates on my works in progress. Books, articles, special events, new and noteworthy happenings, exciting announcements. On occasion, I’ll offer insights for those who aspire to pursue serious writing.
Fresh Faith Fridays — Inspirational Coaching/Professional Speaking: When I’m on the road speaking passionately, or recording a video, I strive to address real needs of real people in our 21st century culture. Many of us feel rushed, pressured, and overwhelmed. But from experience, I know it’s never too late for a fresh start with fresh faith. Through written blog posts, videos, podcasts, and more, I’ll offer motivation and inspiration on relational, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual issues. Sometimes practically — sometimes playfully. But always authentically.
In a nutshell, my goal is to provide relevant information of interest to twenty-first century men and women. Not everyone will connect with my messages, and in that case, I hope you will respectfully agree to disagree, and simply move onto to resources you find of value. But for those who discover hope and help in what I offer, welcome. I’m honored to share this space and time with you — let’s unearth what it looks like to live a life you truly love!
