Redefining Ordinary certainly seems to sum up my life. I am an ordinary woman, who attracts extraordinary events — like a magnet.
I’m not at liberty to share all the details yet, but suffice it to say there is possible movement on my quest to find my birth father. As I told someone yesterday, no matter how much you accomlish, when identity’s at stake, there’s a gaping hole. Troy Dunn, The Locator, puts it best, “You can’t find peace, until you find all the pieces.”
One thing I know about my identity is that I am not an accident. God knitted me in my mother’s womb with my specific DNA mix. I am created on purpose, with purpose, to fulfill a purpose. And my life is not something I intend to waste.
You never know what the next few moments might bring, so it’s important to make good use of time when you can. I learned long ago not to fritter time away. You can’t recycle it, regenerate it, or resurrect it. At least not while we’re here on planet Earth.
In that spirit, I need to diligently tie up some loose ends on promises I’ve made. To make that happen, today, I’m going to defer the heart of my blog post to Darren Dake. For anyone whose ever considered working for themselves, but wondered how to fund your dream in its early stages, enjoy his podcast on passive income for Solopreneurs.
While you’re listening, I’ll be working. I need to tackle all I can, because I don’t know what the rest of my week might bring. Even though God is my Daddy, I’m still excited at the potential prospect of meeting my birth father. Recent events may have aligned for such a time as this. Who knows? The time for me could be now, as I continue to redefine my own ordinary.
