“You were made for more,” it whispered in my mind, as I watched the horizon color coral in the pre-dawn hours.
“You were made for more,” called from the black and white pages of books and Bibles.
“You were made for more,” doggedly echoed through my soul, no matter where I went or what I did.
“When will you accept the more I made you for?” God’s lingering question — my haunting thought.
Even short conversations with people I meet, will often land somewhere in the thick of this commonality of the human condition. We ache to fulfill the more we were made for.
As I embark on another new year, from experiences past, I know the value of deciding to succeed. Every triumphant act started first with a decisive mind-set.
So in 2015, this is my year of accepting more. But first, I’m reviewing my past to learn from it.
I’m asking myself the question, “Are you living life, or watching it?”
I don’t like some of my answer. But being the fresh faith gal that I am, I refuse to cower in a corner and continue poor patterns. I’ve got lots more life to live, whether it’s encompassed in the next few hours or scattered over many more years. What would I do differently if I knew Jesus was returning within the next 24 hours?
Cream rises to the top after it’s churned. In my year of An Experiment in Living More, I plan to churn and rise. You can’t believe the list of things I’m actively going to pursue. Jesus promised an abundant life, so why aren’t more of us experiencing it? I plan to find out where and why I’ve held myself back.

These are just a few of the real, authentic, and totally exposed searches I’ll do for the how and what of living out what God promised. I know it’s me who’s held me back. Can’t blame anyone else. Call it a movement, call me crazy, but in 2015, I’m getting off my couch and LIVING more! How about you? You were made for more! Let’s do this life together.
Are you ready to stop waiting and watching so you can start living more?

Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven, and he made a promise by the power of the One who lives forever and ever. He is the One who made the skies and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it. The angel promised, “There will be no more waiting!
